With a diverse background, Devin has worked on a wide range of architectures spanning web, messaging, distributed systems, big data, machine learning, blockchain, data science, presentation layers, services, and APIs. His expertise extends across multiple domains including infrastructure, assets, real-time operations, government, military, financial services, stocks, aviation, scheduling, real estate, databases, records and documents, geographic information systems, and maintenance repair & overhaul. He has led numerous teams in collaborative efforts to bring strong digital solutions to solve real world problems for top notch companies.
As the Director of Technology & Services (DoTS), Devin Newstead holds a pivotal role at BidWizer. His responsibilities encompass continuous improvement and delivery of quality systems and services leading the infrastructure team, the application development teams, IT operations team, and the data quality and analytics team. Devin and his teams use the agile methodology to efficiently deliver the BidWizer products and to collaborate with the project management, design, testing, sales, customer support, finance, and the stakeholders. Devin works extensively with the 3rd party integrations for their design and implementation in the Bidwizer value chain. As a cofounder, he has contributed extensively to patents, architecture, copyright, data modeling, and many key decisions for the company.

Hailing from Buffalo, NY, Sean’s early exposure to the automotive world at his family’s Volkswagen dealership instilled in him a lifelong enthusiasm for cars. As a dedicated fan of the Buffalo Bills and Sabres, Sean’s love for sports extends beyond the dealership, fueling his competitive spirit and drive for success.
After completing his education, Sean ventured to Atlanta, GA, where he immersed himself in the fields of Marketing and Operations Management. However, it was in 2012 that he refocused his career on the automotive industry, working with some of the largest third-party dealership partners. Relocating to Tampa, FL, Sean honed his expertise in Automotive Consulting, customer relations, and operations management over a span of 20 years.
